Last day in Sarasota

We will be leaving here tomorrow....hopefully, we'll be back next year. There are tons of things to do here at the Park, and we have so many good friends living in the Sarasota area, too.

Getting the coach ready for the highway involves a lot of things, one of which is to get all the branches, twigs, and leaves off the top of the coach and the tops of the pullouts. Brian was on a ladder this morning cleaning all the rubbish. He stated it was like cleaning the gutters at home....ugh!! Now, we are more wiser, and will request sites that we will NOT be under a tree!

We paid our last visit to Philipi Creek Oyster Bar for lunch today. We have been there more than any other restaurant this year. A close second is The Lazy Lobster.

Day before yesterday we picked up a crock pot, and yesterday morning we put together a stew.....the smell was heavenly all day....and the evening meal was out of this world! Maybe because we were hungry? Anyway, this crockpot will be used a lot.

Yesterday we took a walk in the sunshine around to the small lake on the Park. There were miniature sailboats that were racing. These are remote controlled toys....and the owners of these little boats are older men. The wind was on and off, but we had a good time watching their maneuvers.

We have been watching the weather channel, along with the other people next to us. One pulled out this afternoon due to nasty weather coming to their home in KY. Thank goodness we'll be in Tampa until Saturday morning. Hopefully, the nastiness will head out to the Atlantic!

Here is a web photo album that I have set up for our travels:

Cheers!

Those are great pictures.
Did you know that you can put them directly into your blog? It's pretty easy. Just letting you know. Great idea on getting this!
